Wissestad Ranch is Bow Hunting Only for trophy wildlife. For herd management purposes successful archers may be allowed, at no additional cost to shoot a limited number of females from many of the species available. Upon request and at owners discretion, hunters may be allowed to use black powder and rifle to help control the female population.

Those hunters wanting rifle hunts only can book with the Wissestad ranch and will be guided to another adjacent hunting location. This will promote optimal safety for all hunters at the ranch.
